Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30, 1991, is better popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is the American musician, rapper and songwriter. His stage name is a combination of the name of a favorite uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott was signed to his first major-label deal in 2012 with Epic Records. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It included the smash track "Antidote". His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album is his third studio album Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys was released on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was able to release the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs debut at the number one spot within a mere decade in 2020.
