Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. After immigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actor for children. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and then in 2020 - have has made her famous. Apart from her commercial appearances, she was a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also played an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl in Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot TV series called New Warriors. Vayntrub, a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. At the age of 2 she left with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She settled in West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial problems and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly however she quit after her second year. She later obtained a GED and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
