Jimmy Donaldson, born May 7, 1998, best known as his name, MrBeast. MrBeast is an American YouTube personality, entrepreneur and an philanthropist. Six years ago, he was acknowledged as the pioneer of a new genre of YouTube videos that centers on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube when he was 13 and used the username "MrBeast6000". The channel started with Let's Plays, and "videos that estimate how rich other YouTubers are" content. Following his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video was viewed by tens and thousands of views within a couple of days, Donaldson was an instant YouTube star. His early content included Let's Plays as well as videos that were a look at the wealth of other YouTubers. Donaldson recruited his former friends from school to help run the brand after it started to grow. The MrBeast channel was 60 strong by 2022. It reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
