Moss was born on the 13th of February, 1977. He is an American footballer. He
played for the Minnesota Vikings (Oak Raiders), New England Patriots (New
England Patriots), Tennessee Titans (Tennessee Titans), and the San Francisco
49ers in the National Football League. Many consider him to be the greatest
wide receiver of all time together with Jerry Rice, he holds the NFL
single-season touchdown reception record (23 in 2007) in addition to the NFL
single-season record for touchdown receptions for a rookie (17 in 1998) and is
second on the NFL all-time regular season touchdown list, with 156. Moss is
known for his ability secure contested catches. The word "mossed" is
a term that is now a part of the vocabulary of football, became popularized due
to the fact that he was a successful. He began his career as a studio analyst
on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown and Tuesday Night Countdown shows. Moss was born
in Rand, West Virginia. He attended DuPont High School. It was one of two
schools which later merged into Riverside High School. There was a great player
in football, basketball track, track and other sports. Randy was also a member
of the school's debate club. Moss played a key role in leading the DuPont
Panthers football team to two consecutive state championships in 1992 and 1993.
His most prominent position was wide receiver. But Moss also played free safety
in punted kickoffs, as well as was the team’s punter and kicker. In 1994, he
received the by the Kennedy Award as the West Virginia Football Player of the
Year. Parade magazine named him to their annual All-American high school
football team in 1995 and in 2009 named him among the 50 best football players
in high school ever.
