Susan Sarandon Bio
It was after the 1968 Democratic convention, and there was a casting call for a movie with a variety of parts for young people who had disrupted the convention. Joe (1970), was auditioned for by Joe (1970) and Joe (1970) and Joe (1970), two recent Catholic University students. Chris Sarandon was not selected, even though he had previously studied acting. His wife Susan was chosen for a leading role in the movie as Susan Compton as the child of Bill Compton (Dennis Patrick). Dad Bill, Susan's drug dealer partner, is killed in the film. Janet, who becomes involved with Dr. Frank n Furter, is the role of Janet in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). After more than 15 years, Sarandon began to campaign for Annie in Bull Durham (1988), flying herself between Rome to Los Angeles at her expense. Sarandon said that "It was such an amazing script... it removed a number of myths and challenged the definition of success". "I was there for a while with Kevin Costner, sex some males in the studio and then got back on a plane. Tim Robbins, her Bull Durham (1988) as a supporting actor, was her first lover. He had two sons by 1992. This placed Sarandon in an awkward position. She left her home and take on characters that were extremely difficult. Four Academy Award nominations were received in the 1990s. The award for the best actress for Dead Man Walking (1995) was also awarded. Louis Malle's Atlantic City (1980), was her first Academy Award nomination.
