Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
first became well-known as a member of the cast of 'Saturday Night Live.' He
later starred in a variety of major screen comedies, like Elf, Anchorman' and
even'Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was raised in Irvine, California in 1967.
His comedy career began with his time as a Groundlings group member. After his
seven-year tenure as Saturday Night Live's star cast member, Ferrell rose to
fame through off-color hits like Old School (2003). Ferrell was also co-founder
of the streaming video site Funny or Die and enjoyed the success of voice
acting in animated films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was
conceived in Irvine, California on July 16th, 1967. Will Ferrell was the oldest
son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell as well as instructor Kay
Ferrell. He was admittedly not the typical class clown when he was a University
High School student. He was calm and stoic, but he chose to play football,
setting records for his school in terms of the most field goals made. Even in
the more comfortable surroundings of his suburban residence, Ferrell displayed
little of the outrageous, humorous outbursts that would later help to define
his career.
